Texas mass murderer George Jo Hennard was arrested at Lake Mead in Nevada in June after he was found drunk in the truck he drove through a cafeteria window last week, according to a National Park Service report. Rangers also cited Hennard for possession of a loaded firearm after finding two guns stashed in the truck. A no-contest plea to the charge of possession of a loaded firearm brought a $50 fine plus $10 in court costs. He used at least one of the guns to kill 23 people and himself in Killeen, Tex. Residents of Killeen, meanwhile, flocked to churches to pray and grieve for 23 people killed in the attack. At the Bible Way Missionary Baptist Church, about 200 people prayed for their pastor, among those wounded.
