Accidental Shooting: Police in Santa Fe, N.M., confirmed Wednesday that actress Carre Otis of “Wild Orchid” was wounded in an accidental shooting last month during a visit to New Mexico where boyfriend Mickey Rourke was making a movie. A police lieutenant said Otis apparently carried a .357-caliber Magnum revolver in her purse, and the gun went off when she set the purse down on a kitchen counter after returning from the New Mexico State Fair with friends. She was treated for a shoulder wound at a hospital and released the next day. Officers re-interviewed her and others before classifying the shooting as accidental.
