Bellflower : Replacement Appointed for Departing School Trustee

Harold Carman has been appointed to fill an unexpired term on the Bellflower Unified School District Board of Education. Carman will replace Donald Hansen, who is moving with his wife to the Palm Springs area.
Board members approved Carman by a 3-1 vote at Tuesday’s meeting. Justine Miller cast the dissenting vote, saying she preferred another candidate. Carman’s term will expire in November, 1993.
Carman, a supervisor for the Department of Motor Vehicles, lives and works in Bellflower.
