Don’t Fence Us In

Kudos to Santa Monica City Atty. Robert M. Myers in his swift, aggressive and righteous removal of the Sorrento Beach fence (Times, Sept. 22). It’s a breath of fresh air to see a bureaucrat take care of business in such a pragmatic manner.
Volleyball courts have been an integral part of that beach since B.C.--Before Condos. The blatant arrogance displayed by those who erected the fence is too obvious to require further discussion.
