Orange County Law Firm Merges: A small Orange County law firm known for its work in employee benefits and estate planning has merged with Howard, Rice, Nemerovski, Canady, Robertson & Falk, a 100-lawyer firm in San Francisco. Feder, Lopin, Goodman & Schwartz, whose seven attorneys now work in Santa Ana, will move to new offices in Irvine’s Jamboree Center. The firms said they expect several of the San Francisco lawyers to relocate to Orange County. Feder Lopin, which has been in Orange County for 30 years, said it was the first law firm incorporated in the state.
