Chaminade 30, St. Bernard 6--Chaminade’s Justin Giovannettone rushed for 204 yards and a touchdown in 29 carries and also recorded a safety on defense to lead the Eagles (7-2, 3-2) at St. Bernard.

Giovannettone carried the ball on 11 of the 12 plays Chaminade used on its first possession and capped the drive with a five-yard run. The Eagles took a 9-0 lead when Giovannettone tackled St. Bernard running back Thaddeus Massey in the end zone for a safety.

Chaminade wide receiver Mike Sweeney had six receptions for 74 yards, including touchdown catches of 12 and 37 yards. Chaminade had 392 yards in total offense and limited St. Bernard (2-7, 1-5) to 140.
