A Forfeit to Gangs: Was It Cowardice or the Right Move?
We have become a cowardly and decadent nation when a school forfeits a game because the area in which they would play is threatened by gang violence. Hysterical parents are terrorized that their darling little boy might get shot.
Shame, shame, shame! Shame on Banning High, shame on their football players, shame on their mothers and fathers, and shame on Mike Downey for supporting this cowardly act.
