Flight Delays

Share

Why is it that almost every time one flies nowadays, regardless of the airlines, the flight is delayed? The reasons vary, but travelers can almost count on not arriving at one’s destination at the scheduled time. A decade ago this was rarely the case.

Should the airlines be required to offer compensations to delayed passengers? Certainly, for many travelers, lost time can be costly, financially and/or personally. It seems only just that the airlines pay for such losses. Indeed, the economic repercussions of mandatory compensation might just prevent a large percentage of this expanding epidemic of flyer’s “flu.”
