OXNARD : Increase in Amount of Recyclables OKd
The Oxnard City Council has decided Tuesday to increase the amount of recyclables taken to Gold Coast Recycling Center in Ventura to 60 tons a day.
Oxnard now takes two to five tons of recyclables to Gold Coast every day.
The action will allow Oxnard to meet a state mandate requiring that cities reduce their use of landfills.
