Robbers Take Jewelry, Cash From Restaurant
Armed robbers escaped with about $5,800 in cash and jewelry early Thursday after forcing their way into a Reuben’s restaurant in Northridge, Los Angeles police said.
The thieves ordered about 10 employees and patrons to lie face down on the floor before robbing them and stealing the contents of the restaurant’s safe, said Lt. Joseph Eddy. No one was injured, Eddy said.
