More Work Due on Busy Stonehill Drive
With the City Council’s award this week of a $1.2-million street-widening contract to Gillespie Construction of Costa Mesa, another construction project will begin soon on busy Stonehill Drive.
The latest project, which will be the third to be launched on Stonehill, includes widening the road to four lanes between Cheltam Way and Ocean Hill Drive, improving storm drains and installing two traffic signals and a retaining wall. Three water lines for the South Coast Water District and a Dana Point Sanitary District sewer line will be installed at the same time.
