California IN BRIEF : SANTA ANA : Scout Suit Delayed

Share
From Times Staff and Wire Reports

Unexpected legal maneuvers delayed the start of a trial involving Anaheim Hills twins who have been excluded from the Boy Scouts because they refuse to swear an oath to God. The trial was postponed until Wednesday by Superior Court Judge Richard O. Frazee Sr. because of last-minute pretrial motions filed by both sides. William and Michael Randall, both 10, are suing the Boy Scouts of America, claiming that it has illegally discriminated against them because of their views on God.
