2 Arrested in Fatal Driveway Shooting

GARDEN GROVE — A man and a woman were arrested Monday in the shooting death of a Garden Grove man as he was backing his car out of his driveway, police said.
Arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery and murder was Tru Cong Nguyen, 26, of Anaheim. Trang Kim Co, 24, of Costa Mesa was arrested on suspicion of aiding in a felony, Garden Grove Police Lt. John Woods said.
Police are looking for two other men in the case, he added.
Son Ngoc Nguyen, 37, who was not related to Tru Cong Nguyen, was fatally shot in front of his home in the 12400 block of Twintree Avenue at 1 a.m., police said.
Detectives are investigating the possibility that the shooting may have been related to Nguyen’s alleged dealings with a casino in the City of Commerce, police said.
