Grandstand Collapses; 40 Injured in S. Africa

DURBAN, South Africa — Hundreds of people trying to scramble off a shaky grandstand caused the structure to collapse Sunday, leaving 40 people injured, officials said.
Three people were hospitalized with broken legs, and 37 others were treated for cuts and bruises.
The grandstand had been set up for people attending a special Mass.
