Libya Accused in Jet Bombing

Share

What is one to make of the fact that the Administration has chosen this particular time to unseal with much fanfare the heretofore sealed indictments against the two Libyans? Does it have anything to do with the fact that the President’s standing in the polls is at its lowest, due to his neglect of the economy, or do I only imagine the whirring of the public relations wheels? Since our chances of apprehending the alleged malefactors are fairly slender, I can’t help but suspect that the President had something more in mind than the feelings of the Lockerbie families.
