MUDDY PICTURE: Orange County’s jobless figure climbed again last month (D5), but there’s some good news. The number of workers grew, enough to keep the county’s unemployment rate the same as the previous month, at 4.9%. That’s well below the state average of 7.3%. . . . But Chapman University analyst Esmael Adibi warns: “The numbers could even get a little worse before they start getting better.”
