ON THE TRAIL OF THE MIAS

I read with great interest your article “On the Trail of the MIAs.” The fact that the Pentagon has opened an office in Hanoi gives me no hope, since it tends to shoot down all information regarding live MIAs as fabrication. However, what does give me hope is the Senate committee chaired by John Kerry that is investigating the issue. I feel that for once the truth may actually come out.

If President Bush can use his clout to deploy half a million troops in a matter of months to protect a line drawn in the desert, can’t he use some of that same clout to resolve this issue of the MIAs? Or don’t they matter as much?
