Lamenting the Lack of Salon Inspectors
“In Good Hands?” was full of great advice for those shopping for a manicurist, and much of the advice could be applied when shopping for an electrologist.
As the former California electrolysis examiner, may I suggest the first question a prospective client should ask an electrologist should be: Do you use sterile disposable needles and are your tweezers sterilized according to guidelines?
Electrologists must not disinfect, they must sterilize.
