2 Killed, 2 Hurt in Head-On Collision

Two motorists were killed in a head-on collision Sunday in Sun Valley and two others were injured, Los Angeles police said.
The accident occurred in the 9100 block of North San Fernando Road near Hart Street about 8 p.m., Sgt. Mike Arroyo said.
The names and ages of the victims will not be released until relatives are notified, he said.
The accident occurred when a car driving north on San Fernando Road veered across the median and struck a southbound vehicle, Arroyo said.
“The two people--a male and a female--in the southbound car were killed,” he said.
Details were sketchy. Arroyo said the accident was being investigated.
