Hagman Plays Nice: Larry Hagman, who during his 12 years as J.R. Ewing on “Dallas” was often a doer of evil deeds, does a turnabout in his next project for CBS. In “Vendetta, Inc.,” Hagman will play an actor who helps people when they have been badly wronged and have no legal recourse. Aided by behind-the-camera friends, the actor pulls “stings” on those most deserving. Hagman, who conceived the idea, is co-executive producer with Chris Bearde and Kenneth Johnson, who will also direct from the screenplay he wrote in association with Hagman. Plans call for Hagman to play the character in a number of films.
