Metalclad Corp.: The Anaheim insulation company reported a third-quarter loss of $421,367, or 8 cents per share, compared to a loss of $75,828, or 2 cents per share, for the corresponding period last year. Revenue declined 33% to $5.4 million from $8.1 million. For the nine-month period, the company lost $861,711, or 17 cents per share, compared to a loss of $73,346, or 2 cents per share, a year earlier. Revenue dropped to $19.9 million from $20.2 million. Metalclad attributed the lower results to a reduction in oil refinery maintenance work from a major customer and increased competition in the Southern California market.
