In the Redlands tournament:

Cal Baptist 64, Southern California College 60--Cal Baptist outscored SCC, 30-23, in the second half for the victory in the second-round game. Rick Winter had 18 for SCC, which plays Menlo tonight at 6 in the third-place game.

In the Disneyland Freedom Bowl Classic women’s basketball tournament:

UC Irvine 74, Cal State Northridge 64--Kathy Lizarraga scored 22 points, and Yvonna Catala scored 20 for Irvine (2-2). Catala also led Irvine in rebounds with seven.
