Fieldstone Reaches a Milestone: Fieldstone Co., the Newport Beach-based home builder founded a decade ago in the midst of the last recession, has completed escrow on its 10,000th new home sale. The home is a 1,180-square-foot, one-bedroom condominium in Rancho Santa Margarita that was purchased for $138,990 by an El Toro couple, according to Keith A. Johnson, Fieldstone’s president. In its first year in business, Fieldstone sold 82 homes for $11 million--an average of $134,146 each. As of its 10,000th sale, recorded Dec. 3, Fieldstone’s total volume had hit $1.93 billion--an average of $193,000 per home.
