Gasoline Prices Drop: Gasoline prices dropped by more than 1 1/2 cents a gallon over the past two weeks as demand slackened with the approach of winter, an industry analyst said. The national average pump price of gasoline, including taxes, was about $1.22 per gallon as of Friday, according to the biweekly Lundberg Survey of 13,000 stations nationwide. That price was down 1.54 cents from the Dec. 6 survey, analyst Trilby Lundberg said. According to the survey, prices per gallon at self-service stations were about $1.08 for regular unleaded, $1.25 for premium unleaded and $1.04 for regular leaded. At full-service stations, per-gallon prices were about $1.37 for regular unleaded, $1.52 for premium unleaded and $1.38 for regular leaded.
