5.0 Quake Rattles Alaska

CHIGNIK, Alaska —
A moderate earthquake hit Alaska on Sunday, alarming a few people but causing no injuries or damage. The quake measuring 5.0 was centered in the Semidi Islands, about 100 miles east of Chignik and 450 miles southwest of Anchorage.
