FULLERTON : University Advisory Chairman Is Elected

Share

Arnold Miller, president of the Fullerton-based Technology Strategy Group, has been elected chairman of Cal State Fullerton’s influential University Advisory Board.

The panel is composed of prominent Orange County business and community leaders and longtime university supporters who advise Cal State Fullerton President Milton A. Gordon. Gordon has increasingly sought board members’ advice and expertise as he tries to boost private fund raising for the financially pressed state university.

Miller, a retired corporate vice president of Xerox Corp. and now head of his own consulting firm, has been a board member since 1986. Miller replaces H. William Bridgeford, chairman of Bridgeford Foods of Fullerton, who has served as president of the panel since 1980. Bridgeford will remain on the board.

Beaver; real estate firm owner William McGarvey Jr. of Fullerton; lawyer and Fullerton City Councilman Richard C. Ackerman; longtime Fullerton City School Board member Frederick T.
