GARDEN GROVE : Man Crossing Street Struck, Killed by Car
A 68-year-old pedestrian was killed Thursday night when he was hit by a car as he was crossing the street.
David Harding of Garden Grove was crossing Garden Grove Boulevard at Newland Street when he was struck by a car going west on Garden Grove Boulevard at 7:50 p.m., Police Lt. Chuck Gibbs said. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Gibbs added.
Police were investigating whether the victim was in the crosswalk.
The 47-year-old driver of the car was questioned and released, Gibbs said. No citation was issued pending further investigation.
