WOMEN’S BASKETBALL : Leslie Leads USC Over Michigan State

Center Lisa Leslie scored 28 points and had 12 rebounds to lead the USC women’s basketball team to a 56-51 victory over Michigan State Friday night at East Lansing, Mich.
Leslie scored all 10 points during a 10-0 second-half run that gave USC (5-3) a 35-34 lead.
Janel Tilghman scored 13 points and had nine rebounds for Michigan State (6-4).
UCLA 82, San Diego State 59--DeDe Mosman scored 21 points to lead the Bruins over San Diego State (6-4) at San Diego.
UCLA (6-3) led, 55-49, before going on a 15-0 run in the second half.
