Threatening Letter Fever: State and federal investigators in Providence, R.I., are trying to find the source of a threatening letter sent to video stores if they stock “Jungle Fever,” a Spike Lee movie about an interracial couple. At least 10 Rhode Island stores have received letters from the Rhode Island White Aryan Resistance. If video stores do not cancel their orders for the movie, which is scheduled to be released on video Thursday, the letter says, “Our Ku Klux Klan friends will light crosses in front of the video stores.”
