Long-House Rules

Share

We enjoyed your article on traditional menus for Thanksgiving (“The Time of Food,” Nov. 24). We look forward to the Food section every week.

However, our class has been learning about the early Native Americans and we noticed an error. You had a picture of tepees. We thought you might be interested to know that the Indians who celebrated the first Thanksgiving lived in long houses.

The article was wonderful and we learned a lot about traditional Thanksgiving food. We just wanted to bring the long-house information to your attention.
