The Region : Hazardous Waste Collection
A Household Hazardous Waste Collection sponsored by the county Sanitation Districts is planned from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 1 at 900 S. Fremont Ave., Alhambra.
Among items that will be collected, which cannot be disposed of legally with regular household trash, are household cleaners, deodorizers, paint, motor oil, oil filters, insect sprays, antifreeze and car batteries.
