NATION IN BRIEF : INDIANA : 2 on Swim Team Bus Killed in Accident

A bus carrying the Notre Dame’s women’s swim team rolled over in a blinding snow storm on the Indiana Toll Road near South Bend early today, killing two people, police said. “The bus hit an area of heavy snow and lost control about a mile west of South Bend exit,” said state police Cpl. Dennis Boehler. “The bus rolled over into the median, rolled over onto its top.” He said two people were confirmed dead and others were injured.
