Texas forward Dexter Cambridge, ruled ineligible in November for accepting a $7,000 check from a junior college booster, could return to the Longhorns’ lineup Feb. 1 if he meets conditions mandated by an NCAA committee.
The NCAA Council Subcommittee on Eligibility Appeals ruled that Cambridge must sit out two more games and repay $4,600 to the booster.
