Mission Viejo football lineman Matt Keneley said Friday he has orally committed to USC, choosing the Trojans over UCLA.
Keneley, a 6-foot-6, 275-pound defensive tackle, was recruited by more than 35 schools, including most in the Pacific 10, Big West and Western Athletic Conference.
He visited UCLA and California and committed to USC Thursday night after visiting the campus last weekend.
“I know in the end that being a Trojan and playing for Larry Smith will make me the most complete player that I can be,” Keneley said.
