A Minnesota football player posted bail and returned to the university after being arrested for twice failing to appear in a Pennsylvania court. Tom Reid, 19, of Midland, Pa., was arrested at his dormitory Thursday by university police on a warrant issued Jan. 12 by the Beaver County sheriff’s department in Pennsylvania. The freshman back is charged in connection with a shooting incident in which no one was injured.
