Encinitas
A 48-year-old man arrested for possession of marijuana and possession with the intent to sale led sheriff’s deputies to more than 200 marijuana plants he was growing in a San Marcos warehouse, officials said.
Robert R. Webster of Encinitas had apparently been growing the plants, ranging from six inches to three feet in height, for several months in an elaborate set-up, said sheriff’s officials, who confiscated the plants Thursday.
Authorities said each plant was valued at $3,500 upon maturity.
Webster was released on bail, officials said.
