6th Person Robbed at a Seal Beach ATM
A 20-year-old man was robbed of his wallet, cash and traveler’s checks while using an automated teller machine at a Wells Fargo Bank early Saturday morning, police said.
The ATM robbery is the sixth this year in Seal Beach and the first one at that branch, located at 12331 Seal Beach Blvd., said Sgt. Michael Vasquez of the Seal Beach Police Department.
At 12:10 a.m., a man wearing a denim jacket approached the victim and indicated he had a weapon. After demanding that the victim hand over his money, the robber ran toward Rossmoor Center Way, police said.
