Bush Arrives in San Diego
President Bush flew to San Diego on Thursday night after unveiling his plans for health care during a speech before a business group in Cleveland.
After flying to Las Vegas, where he toured a work center for the developmentally disabled, Bush boarded a plane heading for North Island Naval Air Station. He was to spend the night at the U.S. Grant Hotel.
Today, Bush is expected to visit a family health clinic in Barrio Logan, where county officials will kick off an aggressive new immunization program for infants. Before departing San Diego, Bush will address the Rotary Club on Harbor Island.
