UCLA Fans Say Their Goodbys to Maddox

So much for Tommy Maddox’s loyalty and allegiance to the college that recruited him from some obscure high school in Texas.

I offer Coach Donahue my sympathy. He attempted to rebuild his football team into a major contender, a team that would have been tailored around Maddox’s talents.

It’s time for the NCAA and the NFL to put an end to allowing college players to be drafted as juniors or sophomores. If not, why don’t they draft them right from high school?
