Cut to the Crash

I would like to thank Charles Champlin (“Picks of an Odd, Flawed Oscar Litter,” Jan. 26) so much for revealing the end scene of “Thelma & Louise.”

This really is getting to be a problem. Every time I read a review by any film critic I am nervous because they might give the plot away. Why should potential renters of the video be penalized this way? It was only released last week!
