Rosemead : Benefit Sale for Teacher
A rummage sale will be held Saturday to benefit a Rosemead teacher who has breast cancer and needs a bone marrow transplant.
Olivia Sartini is a special education teacher for the hearing impaired in the Los Angeles County Office of Education. The sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 15226 Fernview St., Whittier.
Anyone wishing to donate new or used items may take them to the sale. Tax-deductible donations may also be made to the City of Hope Medical Center. For more information, call C. E. Hall at (310) 985-8259.
