ABC Aids AIDS: “Heart Strings,” a musical that delivers facts about AIDS, will be the cornerstone of an upcoming two-hour prime-time special on ABC. The program will be sold at regular rates to advertisers, with net proceeds going to AIDS education and prevention. The TV special is part of “An Event in 3 Acts” AIDS project that includes a 35-city tour of “Heart Strings” and the showing of the AIDS Memorial Quilt at those performances. “Heart Strings” plays at the Shrine Auditorium Feb. 22.
