Freeway Repairs : Caltrans Work Sites Scheduled

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are spotted on the map by number and are identified in the list below by the nearest city or cities.

HARBOR FREEWAY (110)

1. San Pedro: Northbound alternating lanes from eastbound 1st Street to northbound Gaffey Street near the Harbor Freeway terminus; 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday; stenciling.

LAKEWOOD BOULEVARD (State Highway 19)

2. Bellflower: Northbound and southbound alternating lanes at Artesia Boulevard; 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday; stenciling.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

3. Bell: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes from Slauson Avenue to Gage Avenue; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday; landscaping and guardrail repair.

4. Long Beach: Northbound alternating lanes at the northbound Pacific Coast Highway on-ramp and off-ramp; 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday; stenciling.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

5. Various cities: Eastbound and westbound No. 1 lanes from Azusa Avenue to Indiana Street; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday; sweeping.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

6. East Los Angeles: Southbound No. 5 lane from Ditman Avenue to the southbound Long Beach Freeway (710), plus the Triggs Street and Ditman Avenue on-ramp, and the Olympic Boulevard off-ramp; 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday; landscaping.
