WOMEN’S BASKETBALL : Maryland Loses Second in a Row

CLEMSON, S.C. —
Shandy Bryan had 14 points and 11 rebounds as No. 23 Clemson upset No. 1 Maryland, 72-55, in an Atlantic Coast Conference women’s basketball game Saturday.
It was the second consecutive loss for the Terrapins (20-3 overall, 10-2 in the ACC), who were defeated, 75-74, by No. 2 Virginia on Tuesday.
Clemson is 16-7, 7-6.
