Border Checkpoint

Birthday and wedding shootouts, barbaric gangs of unparented primitive youths, violence-jaded police, overcrowded courts, costly prison and probation programs, bankrupt schools faking education to prevent dropouts, overburdened welfare and public housing programs, flooded county hospitals, millions driving without licenses or insurance, waves of immigrants running down freeways.
Does anybody, save a few politically correct elected officials, not see that our lack of firm and effective immigration control has brought irreversible ruin to the American Southwest? Does anybody really believe this lack of border control has left Los Angeles a better society? We all know the truth but are silent as lambs.
