I might suggest to Thompson that she may be making contributions to the wrong party. While neither party has the monopoly on sexism, the Republican Party still believes women are incapable of making “rational” decisions about their own bodies, they decry an unfair playing field with regard to trade issues and will always cry “quotas” when there is any attempt (usually by Democrats) to make the playing field more equitable for women and minorities.
