ROLE PLAYING: Golden West College President Judith Valles cannot help but laugh at her role in a Feb. 29 campus production of “Man of La Mancha.” She plays Aldonza, Don Quixote’s love interest, who has a, well, checkered past. . . . “To go from a presidential posture to playing an earthy prostitute is quite a challenge,” Valles says. “But it’s a good cause, so I’m game.” The show will benefit the college’s Theater for Children program.
