SANTA PAULA : Council to Renovate 4 City Buildings
The Santa Paula City Council on Tuesday approved spending $110,000 from the city’s housing rehabilitation program to renovate four city-owned buildings.
The Boys & Girls Club, City Hall, police headquarters and the community development building will be brought up to building and fire codes, said Jeff Palmer, a city engineer.
Ramps and doors for the handicapped will be installed in all the buildings, and handicapped-accessible restrooms will be added at City Hall, officials said. Construction could begin as soon as late August.
