More Helping Hands: Another charitable effort sponsored by a quartet of Orange County building industry firms made Christmas nicer for clients of the Laguna Beach Community Center, which had lost its federal financial support because it had fewer than 40 client families.
The four organizing companies--Danelian Associates, OCB Reprographics and Fusco, Williams, Lindgren & Short, all of Irvine, and First American Title Insurance Co. in Santa Ana--recruited 30 other firms into its “Project Care and Share.”
All encouraged their employees to donate food, clothing and household items for the center and enough goods poured in to fill two large trucks. Then the sponsors bought a large freezer so the center can store perishables.
