Palestinians in Jordan

It was gratifying to read Williams’ article and know the American public is being made aware of the plight of Palestinian refugees who fled from Kuwait to Jordan. As Williams pointed out, the Palestinians were forced out of their homes in 1948, then again in 1967 and now.

It would really make sense if many of these new 300,000 Palestinian refugees were allowed to return to their original birthplace: Palestine of the West Bank and Gaza. Surely the 30,000 Palestinians originally from Gaza who are stranded and unwelcome in Kuwait should be allowed to go back to Gaza.

I was born to a Christian Palestinian family in Jerusalem. The Israelis physically drove us from our home in 1948 and, of course, I can never return to my home nor has my family received reparations for it.
